RP: A trap turns into a battle...
Date: July 23, 2005 (5ish in the morning)
Characters: A whole bunch of people – add your tags
Location: Glastonbury Tor
Private/Public: Very, very public
Rating: NC-17 for violence and death
Warnings: Probably more than could fit…violence, death, torture, hexes…
Summary: A trap slams shut.
Completion: InComplete

There was a feeling of fright and dread in the air already, as well as one of anticipation. Bellow the hill Aurors and Order members were arriving, confused to see each other but all determined, even trying to get the Muggles down from the power lines. Lucius chuckled at their vain attempts, watching them from his position at the hill, hidden beneath an invisibility cloak.

Ensuring with hushed whispered that both Natasha and Darby were masked and turned so that the Aurors couldn't see who they were, Lucius judged the situation, waiting until they were close enough to see them, but far enough that they would still think Natasha and Darby were Bellatrix and Rabastian, thenhe threw off the cloak. Smirking as the three of them stood out in the pale light of the moon, he let go of the lifeless form of one more Muggle, letting it roll down the hill at the people gathered below. Natasha laughed manically – her laugh almost earily like Bellatrix's. He watched the Aurors and soldiers look up, point and scream.

'It's them!' he heard, then they moved – almost as one – up the hill, some running, some moving more slowly.

'Take them alive!'

Utter fools!

A few moments later they were all on the hill, and Lucius raised his wand sending up bright green sparks into the air – only a taste of what would come – then the trap sprung shut around the group, DEs pouring out from every bush and shrub in the area – completely and utterly surrounding the Order members.

It was going to be a fine slaughter tonight.

Natasha moved immediately on Malfoy's order, her mask in place as she threw a hex towards one of the flanking Aurors, drawing his attention. A moment later he was heading straight for her and she nearly laughed at his stupidity.

A manic gleam in her eyes she ran, knowing he'd follow, knowing she'd get him alone to play with. This would be a good time to try out some new hexes.

After easily deflecting the hex, child's play really, Matthew was pleased to see that she took one look at him and turned tail. He immediately began the chase. It was possible he'd get a commendation for this.

He hunched down a bit, throwing a blasting hex just to one side of her. It wouldn't be sporting, after all, to curse a woman whose back was turned. With any luck, however, it would at least trip her up. A bit of an advantage was just good tactics.

Did he just blast to the side of her? Was he really that stupid?

Baffled, Natasha hid her laughter - and pretended to trip in fear and shock. Far too late for anyone really paying attention, but she was willing to bet he didn't.

Putting her hands in the air, she pretended to cry. 'I give up, you're too much for me!'

Oh hell she was going to play with him later for making her say that.

Honestly, if she thought he was going to fall for that old dodge she had another think coming. He stayed well back, reinforcing his own shielding spell even as he called to her.

"I doubt that Ms. LeStrange although it would be most wise of you to do so. You must know you cannot hope to win here."

As he spoke, and while she should be sufficiently distracted, he cast a wordless stunning spell at her.

Well not that stupid then, but stupid enough. She laughed and threw herself to the side as his stunning spell was cast, then cast one of her own - a fairly nasty slashing hex - at his legs.

Matthew moved with her as she rolled, trying to keep a good sight line. That was proper, after all. He was just thinking this when white light sped toward him. He had time for only one step more.

The hex, therefore, hit a glancing blow to one side. The shield charm absorbed most of it but he did feel a surprising amount of pain as a bit got through. A slash appeared in his battle cloak and even as he threw himself the rest of the way to the ground he was concerned with the cost of getting that fixed.

Now there was no warning. He threw another blasting hex, this one directly at the woman. Kid gloves off, Missy! he thought.

A maniacal laugh erupted from her throat as he threw the next hex, and even as it glanced her shoulder as she rolled away, she still managed to get to her feet in the same movement.

'Crucio!' she cried, aiming her wand at the annoying little man.

Matthew threw another hex, a clever little one that would cause temporary blindness if it hit her just right. He actually cursed aloud, very improper, as she moved and was just about to take further aim when he saw her wand flash.

He rolled left, which turned out to be a terrible idea. Matthew had a brief moment to think that the books had not been nearly descriptive enough about the intensity of this particular hex and that the editors shoudl be notified before his world turned into a white agony that blanked his thoughts.

A deep moan spilled from her lips as the curse left her body and she could feel herself get more and more aroused as the spell went on. The power, the passion, the intensity. She twisted her wand and drove the hex deeper into the screaming man.

It was the moan that dragged him back from the abyss. He wasn't moaning was he? No. He was screaming.

Screaming? How terribly undignified. I must stop this at once!

He drew a breath and then the spell changed, morphed, became overwhelming again, and he used the air to change the scream into a shriek.

The pleasure coursing through her was nearly overpowering, and Natasha dropped to her knees, straddling the man, intent on watching the pain on his face, the possibility to ground herself against him only a bonus.

Oh he screamed and shrieked and she let off the spell just long enough to turn it into a slashing spell, slashing his face with her wand while she constantly ground herself against him - the blood only adding to her feelings of pleasure.

Matthew was writhing on the ground, trying to fight through the pain when it stopped and he felt blood dripping down his face, into his eyes. He also noticed that the woman was....

"Oh my God! That's indecent!"

The sheer horror, the nerve, the unmitigated cheek! Matthew did something in that moment that he'd sworn he would never do to a woman. He used all the power afforded him by moral outrage and punched her in the face.

Pain! There was pain!

Natasha nearly howled with pleasure from the feeling of his fist against her face, climaxing right then and then.

'Avada Kedavra!' she shouted, panting, wanting more pray to kill.

He was satisfied with the punch. The woman seemed to be having some sort of seizure. Things were looking up. He fumbled for his wand, fingers touching it and then.

Green. Green is bad! Mother, I...

His lifeless fingers spasmed once around the wand and then he lay still.
